She is lovely, much smaller than expected, but an absolute baby who just wants cuddles. She didn't have a very nice journey bless her she got a bit car sick, but was better as soon as I took her out and gave her a cuddle...
Thanks so very much,
The pup (Eddy) is great. The only problem we had was at night time and him being on his own, he doesn't like that at all. We are keeping him up stairs with us at the moment but in his cage and he is now sleeping well.
He doesn't like being told no, when he jumps up. he answers back by barking at us but he has learnt who is the Dad already.
He is fantastic with his own little ways and when I have been out all day or night working, his wagging tail and the love he shows makes the day seem brighter.
We have kept him on the same food that you gave us and he seems to be growing at a great rate of knots.
How tall are his mum and dad?
I have attached some photos so you can see how much he has grown.
Thanks very much for the email Gary and thanks a million for Eddy.
The reason Eddy did not like being on his own was that, as he was the last of the litter to be collected, he had come indoors
where there was still company!!!
hi gary so sorry not been in touch any sooner(we've been enjoying kiedis too much!!)
he's doing extremely well,he's picked things up really quickly including anything he finds on the floor!!ha!ha! from word go he has slept all through the night in his crate without even a whimper,he sits by the back door for his toilet breaks and he took to walking on his leash like a true pro!the only things he's being a rebel with is chewing and following me literally everywhere!!but thats what we wanted. everyone thinks he's adorable and comment on what a good breed he seems(he has such a calm temperament) our camera has been playing up recently so we only have a few pics but i've attached the best ones.once again many thanks gary and keep up the good work!!
This is Toby, a fourteen month old Jack-a-Bee boy, on a visit back here. He is a lovely looking chap, as you can see, but it is a bit difficult to see mother in him. He takes after dad, Beezer the Beagle, far more in his looks. The Parson JRT comes out more in the behaviour side, although he is partial to a scent by all accounts
These pictures give a good guide to the size of this type of Jack-a-Bee as Toby is pretty much full grown now. He is a boy, remember.
He is, as he was supposed to be, a good family pet dog and does the holidays and everything. Marvellous.
The occasion was to pick a sister for Toby - and it really is a sister, a year younger than him but a full sister nonetheless - and so we could see the boy all grown. He also met his mum and dad whilst he was here.
